And they say it will hit 100 tomorrow (Yipee).. I love to sweat but I do NOT like the sun hitting my face (I am wrinkle prone and I am fighting each and every one to the end).
Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.. It was great to just hang around and not have to race anywhere.
I did get to hit some sales (love those sales) sun dress and skirt and today I went and got a collagen facial.. I don't know if it really works but it felt good.
I have been watering my garden like a maniac. My tomatoe's are looking real nice.. I just love vine riped tomatoes and basil and a nice slice of fresh mozzarella salad... a little balsamic oil.. yum yum yum...
I have found a naughty little treat that I think I am now addicted to.. the Healthy Choice Ice Cream sandwiches. I had two today.. that is not going to help me get to that magic number.
Well. short post.. just wanted to check in and say HI to everyone. :)
Love fresh, garden tomatoes! I am addicted to Skinny Cow Ice Cream sandwiches, which may explain the scale's bouncy-ball action lately.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good 4th and were able to hit up some sales! Always a good thing :)
I just ate the other half of my son's ice cream sandwich. MMM (so much for a 'perfect' eating day-- but I did much better today than this weekend!)
ReplyDeleteIn our new band lifestyle nothing is off limits. I allow myself ice cream in the summer & refuse to feel guilty ;)
ReplyDeleteohhh caprese salad my favorite!
ReplyDeleteIt's the devil's a$$hole here in Ontario. So glad for air conditioning-in the house, in the car, in the office. Just have to suffer the few steps in between.
ReplyDeleteAnd you can be naughty. But just a little. Maybe more shopping!
Mmmmm! Tomatoes, basil, and mozz... You are speaking my language!
ReplyDeleteI love me some fresh tomatoes. Glad you had a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love tomatoes too. What I love to do with them is this: chop them up in a bowl with some italian seasoning, a little olive oil, pepper and lots of fresh chopped garlic! You can eat it on crackers, on steak, as bruschetta topping...it is SO FREAKING GOOD! Nobody will want to come anywhere near you for a while...but that's not always a bad thing :)
ReplyDeleteHi back baby!
ReplyDeleteWe are finally getting our summer here in Vancouver.
Oh that sounds yum. I have just planted a lot of tomato plants so come spring - well, yum. Nothing like home grown tomatoes!!
ReplyDeleteFresh mozzerella Salad and healthy ice cream sandwiches? YUM!!! Glad you had a ncie holiday weekend!!
ReplyDeleteHey there pop tart...can you believe this heat???
ReplyDeleteHow the heck are we going to survive that Phillies game at the end of the month with weather like this???
a summer caprese salad is one of my very favorite things. Oh I share your love of home grown tomatoes and basil. If you want a great olive oil, try Costco's Kirkland brand in the glass bottle. Its extremely high quality, amazing price. you'll love it.
