Needing a Compass in Life

This is so true for me.
As I do not do well with chaos of any kind.
And so, as in life, my personal path needs a physical and mental compass.

So give me good restriction, a good band friendly food plan, and some exercise here and there, and there you have it..my compass is set.

I have found if I have these three things working together, the WL will follow (albeit slow).. but it is working for me.

The irony of of this statement is that  it (food quality and exercise) seems to be the basis for any successful WL plan.  The difference for me (and most likely you) is that the band is my physical (compass) that lets me know whether to go forward or to stop dead in my tracks (and you all know how that signal is sent).

On a personal life note: Thank you ALL for your very kind words and compassion on this blog and my other blog.. when you see, feel and try to validate all that presents to you.. it becomes emotionally overwhelming.
But  and I want to emphasize this.. life has a way of balancing out.. and we now have a plan.. (can you tell I am a geek about planning).. I need structure and organization to function well.

This is a probable  root cause of my WL issues in life. If I feel that I do not have a plan or control of things then I envision things spinning out of control.  I do so much better with a plan in place..

So there you have it.. things are not perfect, but I have a plan and a compass to navigate me through it all.

Be well

  7. Awesome post! I think this holds so true for so many of us, and a lot of times we don't realize how much we rely on our compass, our order, until it starts to slip away from us.
