Ah... so one of my Christmas Gifts from my eldest DD was two tix for a Broadway Play in NY, NY to see a revival classic
"West Side Story"
(one of my favorites and the source of where my confirmation name Maria was derived).
One of the beautiful things about living in Bucks Co., is that we are literally an hour train ride (local or Amtrak) from NY, DC, Philly, Baltimore, so we have a multitude of the arts, entertainment, shopping and sports venues available).
But yesterday we were all off on the train to NYC.
Next we were off to The Glass Tavern, on West 47th St, just a few blocks off Broadway for a wonderful dinner with my DH, my DD and her BFF. The food was wonderful. Full disclosure here: I had 2 cosmos, 1 glass of Pinot Noir, tomato, basil mozzarella salad, salmon and one fork full of chocolate lava dessert, followed by coffee with Baileys..
Then we were off for a bit of sight seeing (on foot and in the rain (uh what rain, I didn't feel the rain).
So here is pictorial summary:
Radio City Musical Hall
NBC Rainbow Room (home of the David Letterman Show)
Rockefeller Plaza (NBC), stopped in for a visit with Matt Lauer
And of course
The Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center.
And last but not least,
a swing by MACY's
And then it was back to Penn Station..
a Wonderful Day in my Wonderful Life
