Weekends GO By WAY TOO Fast....

Well, the weekend is not officially over, but I still get that sinking feeling on Sunday afternoons.. it is sort of  like watching the sun set.. It is quiet and peaceful.... but you know it will soon come to an end.

First, I have to say the 9cc volume is a noticeable and effective fill.  I was very concerned I would be too tight, but really, this tweak (.25cc) is enough to "turn off" my desire to graze and keep me very content with just 1/2 cup of food.
I was going to go in for a fill last month but decided not to, now I regret waiting..

Well, yesterday was RACE DAY.. and we had an absolutely beautiful day for Team Mark to gather and run/walk the 5K..
Team Mark- Philadelphia raised $6,280 + Team Mark-Boston raised $900 for a grand total of $7,180!!  [thanks K..hugs]

Some of team members decided to run (the young one) and then the others just enjoyed a good walk..
I chose to do a rather "quick ass pace walk with my Dad"..
I have  to say, the ole guy can still move at a good clip and had me playing catch up a few times.
I guess a 5K equals 3.5 miles and I think we finished under an hour around 55 minutes or so.  And I felt it later in the day as my calves went into spasms.. I moaned to my husband every time it happened.

OK, now for some pics from yesterday..
Here we are with the Philadelphia Eagles Mascot "SwooP" before the race
DH on far left, followed by DD2, SwooP, me, SIL, and DD2/SIL
