I AM HOME ALONE AND >>>>

THERE IS NO FREAKIN' JUNK FOOD ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND!!!

I have walked in and out of the pantry at least 5 times, trying to remember where some of my secret hiding spots were in hopes of finding something old but still in tact and edible.

NO LUCK.

There is an unopened bag of semi sweet choc chips.. but no that would leave evidence!!

NO CHIPS, NO COOKIES, NO CANDY, NO ICE CREAM..

NADA.

I even opened and closed the fridge several times thinking something would magically appear like it does in those Bud light commercials..

So what is my Band Karma telling me??

GET YOUR FAT ASS OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!!

  1. I will admit to dipping a spoon in peanut butter and then into chocolate chips in times of extreme need! Sad but true ~shrugs~

Time for something healthy (nuts?) or a nice glass of wwwwwwwwwwwater (I wanted to say wine, really I did).

  3. When this happens to me I feel so thankful I live in the sticks! The are no stores or fast food anywhere nearby. BUT, man am I a total bitch when I am craving sweets.

Hope it passes soon for you.

  4. I would have eaten the whole bag of chocolate chips, then wrapped the bag in paper towel and then thrown it out underneath other garbage. Soooo...yay for you for NOT doing THAT!!

  6. Oh Barbara I hate that feeling. The thing is, I usually find that the craving passes and then I realize it wasn't such a big deal and I'm proud of myself for sticking it out. Oddly, when the next craving hits, in the middle of it, I'm still a madwoman searching for sweets. Funny how your mind abandons you when you need it most.

Good for you for stepping out of the kitchen. Get a manicure, or a massage, or something...

  9. Shrinking Mommy had a good idea about writing down what you're FEELING when you get that way. I have a difficult time even recognizing it's happening. But, if you are able to do recognize what you're doing in the moment... it might be good to look at what's going on at a deeper level and write it down. I hope to be able to get to that point!

  10. Some really good ideas from dipping the peanunt butter in the choc chips - to getting in touch with my feelings - to the devilish suggesting of wrapping the bag and hiding it in the trash.. (sneaky)...

  11. Are we allowed to chew gum with the band? When I feel like snacking I chew some mint gum. Or I have a cup of coffee (decaf if too late in the day). Of course the best thing to do is to get as far away from the kitchen as possible and get involved in some other activity - blogging perhaps. :-)
