HELP ZUMBA ELITES...

Alright damn it.. I am going to a Zumba class tomorrow night (at 6:15).You have all raved about it, so now I am going to try it..[I told you I am going to get to Onederland.. even if I have to ride in on a stretcher]


Here is the dumbest question I have ever asked..

What do you wear (and I mean given that I jiggle when I wiggle).. what is a decent thing to wear so I don't offend thee..

     Yoga pants and T shirt?  Yeah I know its not a yoga class
     Do I dare wear shorts?
        Is it allot of bending over and squats?
        I just don't want to have to bend over and have my a** in some one's face..

     I can't bring myself to wear sweats.. it's 95 freakin degrees out..

    I am going to dig into my closet and see what I come up with .. but in the meantime... ADVICE PLEASE!!

  1. Don't wear sweats! They will be soaked when you are done. I wore capris and a tank. Both are danskin and have some wicking properties. My arms wiggled a lot, but so did many of the others. I wanted something cool and not restrictive.

    If you have anything that wicks the water away you might want to wear that. I noticed that most people sweat a lot. Also bring a water bottle and a small towel if your place doesn't have them.

  3. Way to go on your Zumba class...I think I told you I'd start going with DH once I hit 199...should be in a week or so.
    Have fun...good question as to attire...you saved me from having to ask. I'm with the shorts and a tank top.

  4. I wear shorts or capri length champion bottoms and a tank top. Don't forget your water and a small towel.

  7. Woo! Zumba!! I wear yoga capri pants and an Old Navy t-shirt that's nice and thin. And last time, I wore ass jingles! I always bring a towel and a big thing of water and wear my Polar F4 so I can see how many calories I burn!

    Oh it's so much fun! I wish I could go with you!!

  9. Hey B! Good for you on the Zumba-- take it EASY during your first class... you'll still be burning calories. Most of all: have fun!!
    Anywho: when I exercise, I always wear what makes me most comfortable-- particularly considering the boobs that could give me a black eye (if you have that issue)-- I wear a good jog bra AND I wear either running 'tights' (you know, skin tight running pants) or capri length running pants. This helps me with the inevitable thigh rub (gross-- but true.) I don't like raw inner thighs post workout-- and it can really ruin your fun if you're in pain b/c of 'chub rub!!'
    Hope this helps-- and no assumptions meant above about your inner thighs-- I'm just adding my 2 cents about MY thighs.
