Ok, my thoughts...

Alright Ladies...

I am not nuts, I just decided to pop back onto my old blog and keep the topic very band centric.

I have been reading all of the "perfect bandster" chatter across the blogs.

Here is my bottom line.. we are all perfect, because we made the decision to take action and do something about our weight.

We do not need to validate anything we do or don't do.
If we have one food choice over the other
It is what it is.
Its called life, and living it.

I think we are all very good at giving ourselves a good kick in the pants when we need it, after all we are all probably our worst critics.

I have been hovering at the same weight for about 6 months.. I am not at goal, but I am a far place from where I started this journey and thats OK.

I have some motivation I have setup for my self.. a new spring dress, two trip to sunny Florida, where the winter hibernation coverups just wont work.

We really need each other in this journey, we need to inspire the newly banded and comfort the veteran bandsters.

I know that you all have provided an OVERWHELMING amount of support to me... and for that I will ALWAYS be incredibly grateful.

Let's be kind to one another, because.. in the end, no one really knows the life of a bandster other than US.

have a great weekend.

  5. I love the comment you made: "I have been hovering at the same weight for about 6 months.. I am not at goal, but I am a far place from where I started this journey and thats OK."

I was beating myself up for maintaining for just about all of 2011. While my weight loss was minimal, it's quite a feat just to maintain - and it's good practice for when I reach my goal weight! Besides, being diagnosed with a slipped LapBand that my insurance won't pay for, moving across the country and changing careers are all fundamentally big things that happened to me in 2011. It's called life...and I'm living it!
