Simply Stated... I love my Band

I know the Sleeve is the latest for WLS; however, I just want to give a shout out to MY BAND.

Yes, I am an old timer cause I still have the Band, but its working for me.

I think after being 4 plus years out, I forget how much the band has impacted the Quality of My LiFE!

Four years ago, I would never have had the problem of a CLOSET OUT OF CONTROL!!
Yes, for the first time in my life I have too many clothes.

That may not seem like a strange problem for most women, but I do not forget the days when I stood in a changing room just hoping that something, anything would fit.  Fighting back the tears.. Knowing that my husband was just outside hoping to see a smile on my face as I exited the dressing room.  That type of memory never leaves the mind.

But today, the idea  of having choices or being choosy about what I want to buy or how clothes fit is truly a dream come true!  And the same applies to shoes.

So, what I am trying to say here is that WLS can change your life and bring good things to you!

Just a PS.. my eye surgery was a HUGE success.. I now have incredible vision, with two new intra ocular lens implants that have given PERFECT vision.. things are great.. now on to my new HIP!

  3. Just read your last post and yeah for eyes that can see. Boo for a new hip. My SIL had hers replaced last year and although she can't do a full jig, can now go down my stairs without worrying her hip would collapse. I still love my band too.

  4. I love my band too! Glad to hear the eyes are good. Of all the joint replacements, the hip is supposed to be one of the better recoveries though...good luck!
